Decorative Installation for an Islamic Community Ceremony
This is a small section of a very large decorative installation. The full set was designed and built as part of a series of architectural features for an Ismali community ceremony. The arches, fretwork and columns were designed in modules which could be quickly and easily assembled on site, without any cutting or fitting. The turned columns were profiled with a classical Roman entasis detail. This section was photographed in the Jali factory.
