Lounge Corner Unit

Lounge Corner Unit

This installation is actually made of four units. At the bottom we have two separate cupboards both with plinths and full skirtings. The longer base cupboard has three sections and was designed and positioned to fit to right hand wall. The fitting 'inset' was increased from the default 18mm to 350mm. This then provides a blank panel to the right of the doors onto which the shorter single section cupboard could fit. This creates the corner detail.

The upper shelving units were created by selecting bookcases without plinths so they could be placed on top of the cupboards. The corner detail was created by using the position and fitting options in the same way as the base cupboards.

Some people like to go that extra step to really make the project work for them. Combining bookcases, cupboards, drawer units or dressers will transform your room like no other DIY product can.

The four doors were created using the 'Doors' option in the Jali Designer. The customer replaced the door panels with glass. The door panels were removed and used as templates to source the glass locally.

The back panel of the larger bookcase was painted a deep purple to contrast with the white - to a stunning effect.

"All in all we are very pleased and they fulfil our requirements, as we wanted - particularly the corner bit!"

Combining units in a corner like this really adds a touch of class to the room. Remember you can match the style of your room easily with the Jali Designer.
