Wardrobes - construction

Jali wardrobes consist of a number of separate parts.

All Jali wardrobes are made up from one or more box units which fit onto a base or plinth. The boxes have solid backs. There are many advantages to this: you can hide unsightly details and overcome uneven walls; but also if you want to make major alterations or even move the entire unit in the future you can. We keep all order details on file so we can supply new parts for different configurations many years later.

Once the base unit is aligned and levelled to the floor, the box units simply locate into place and line up. The joining uprights can then be fitted. Any side uprights and the top which need precise cutting or scribing can easily be done at this stage. Finally, all the internal parts and the doors can be fitted and adjusted.

Box units can be open, have single doors, double doors or top-and-bottom split doors - or a combination.
