Wardrobes
Wardrobes - assembly
All wardrobes are supplied as a pack of parts. Where possible, we pack associated parts together to help you identify them. The box units are numbered 1,2,3 etc starting from the left and the principal parts are labelled accordingly. Use these labels, the delivery note/contents sheets and your design layout to identify each part and where it goes before you start assembling.
All the pieces are specifically made to your design. Although there may be multiples, most parts are unique or handed (opposites). Beware as some parts might appear the same but be just a few millimetres different, or just have some different holes here and there.
Fully assemble the base unit first and position and level it into place. Then partially assemble all the box units.
Build up each box face downwards on the floor. Fit any compartment dividers (not shelves), followed by the back. Make sure all edges line up exactly before fully screwing together. Please note: with inline doors, the front edge of the (L&R) sides sit 4mm forward of the top and bottom.
Boxes can then be stood up and fitted to the base before further work (once the base and skirting are fixed and levelled in position).
When all the boxes are in place you can fit all the internal features like shelves, rails and drawer units etc. Shoe racks and drawer units should be built up as sub-assemblies first.
Finally, all the uprights and the doors can be fitted and adjusted.
