Bay window radiator cabinets
How to measure for a bay window radiator cabinet
The bay window will be made in three sections, one for each wall of the bay itself. The middle one will stretch all the way across the middle wall of the bay, but you choose where you want the left and right-hand sections to go along the side walls (represented by L and R in the picture here).
Measuring the bay itself
All you need is a tape measure (and perhaps someone to hold the other end). The Jali Designer will ask you for three measurements along the walls of the bay, and two more measurements so it can work out the angles of the side walls. (Don't worry about remembering this now: the Designer will take you through them one at a time with full instructions at each stage.)
Measuring the radiator
Once it knows the size of the bay, you just need to measure the height and depth of the radiator itself so the Designer can work out how big the cabinet needs to be. Once that's done, it will show you a picture so you can adjust details like the overall style, the design of the grilles and the height of the skirting board.
