Half Pelmet kits

What is a half pelmet kit for?

• You can use a half pelmet kit on a window up to 2400mm wide (almost 8 feet) - more than our standard pelmet kits.
• They are more decorative than standard pelmets and can give a grander look to your room.

What does the kit include?

• The two half pelmets themselves (choice of three designs)
• A centre piece (to cover the join in the middle)
• Two 130mm deep side pieces (to cover the gap between the pelmet and the wall)
• Two quick-release brackets for attaching to the wall

How do I fit a half pelmet kit?

1. Firstly, cut the half pelmets to suit the width of your window. You can either cut from the outside ends or from the middle ends.
2. Make up a 'box unit' from the pelmet ends, the two side pieces and a top board or some wooden battens.
3. Use the centre piece to cover the join in the middle.
4. Use the quick-release brackets to attach the box unit to the wall.

Why isn't there a top board included in the kit?

We've found that many people prefer to use their own battening to fix half pelmets. If you want to use our top boards, you can buy them individually on the Pelmet Separates page. You'll need one or two 130mm top boards depending on the finished size of your half pelmet.
