How to order a bookcase

You can order a bookcase kit online (through our website), by using the Jali Designer computer program (on a PC-compatible computer), or by phone, post or fax.

Ordering online

Order online (through our website) if you're happy with one of the three standard styles of bookcase (Classic, Contemporary or Ethnic). We'll take you through three easy steps, and during them we'll:

• ask you for the style of the bookcase
• ask you for its size (width, height and depth from the wall)
• ask you for the number of shelves you want
• show you the price and ask if you want to add the bookcase to your shopping list.

Ordering via the Jali Designer

Use the Jali Designer if you need time to measure up for your bookcase, or if you want fine control of the details of the design. With the Jali Designer you can:

• see exactly what your bookcase will look like when it's assembled
• fit the bookcase in an alcove
• remove the plinth from a bookcase (so you can put it on top of a cupboard or radiator cabinet)
• specify the exact spacings between the shelves, and even have different spacings for each shelf
• mix and match between Classic, Contemporary and Ethnic details within the same bookcase
• choose one of the optional decorative top details
• print out the drawing (if you have a printer), so you can check the sizes if the bookcase is going in a different room
