We are used to seeing Jali products on the TV and in films. Our products have long been a favourite of the TV makeover programmes and the flexibility of our products is recognised by many production companies - which is why careful viewers will spot Jali in a number of blockbusters, including the Harry Potter films and The Mummy.

Our furniture was recently featured in three episodes of the Channel 4 series, The Home Show. Presented by top architect George Clarke, it aims to help owners fall back in love with their homes by changing the layout and interior design. Jali furniture was installed at a home in Kew and some of our items were used again later on in the series in houses in Brixton and Putney.

We are always proud to see our products on TV as it confirms our status as an industry leader in built-in and made-to-measure furniture. Remember that every item we produce, from bookcases to cupboards and pelmets, can be designed to fit any space.

The Jali Designer tool on the website continues to help our customers
order made-to-measure furniture for almost any room in the home
or office. If you have any questions to ask regarding using the Jali
Designer don't forget that our customer services team is on hand to help.

We've introduced two new products to the Jali range with both now available for delivery in time for Christmas.

Available in a choice of fretwork designs in each leaf and choice of frame,
our new folding screens are multi-functional and ideal for use as room
partitions, to hide unsightly clutter or just as a decorative feature.

As with the all other items in the Jali range, they can be customised to
the width and height you require and each can be ordered with up to six
leaves.

Screens are supplied in 15mm natural MDF with hinges supplied and all the
holes pre-drilled so they only need to be painted in the colour of your
choice and they're ready for easy assembly.

We have also added pelmets to the Jali range. Pelmets add a finishing touch
to any room and can be made-to-measure to suit the window or curtain rail. They can be supplied as a single pelmet or as a complete kit including end pieces, a top board and special quick-release brackets for attaching the assembled kit to the wall.

All Jali prices have been reduced in line with the new 15% VAT rate. These reductions are available now - making Jali made-to-measure furniture even better value for money!

We guarantee that all orders received by the 12th December will be delivered before Christmas. We will try to deliver orders received after this but it may be advisable to choose the Express Delivery option at the checkout page on our website.

Ordering your made-to-measure furniture from Jali is now even easier thanks to the revolutionary new Jali Designer. The Jali Designer is an online tool that enables you to custom design furniture, useful DIY components and architectural parts.

One of our most popular items is the radiator cover and here are some frequently-asked questions about radiators and the Jali radiator cover.

Why not try the Jali Designer right now? Visit www.jali.co.uk

Does a radiator cover waste the heat emitted by my radiator?

No. In fact the innovative Jali design means that cold air is drawn in at the gap at the bottom and pushed through the vent in the top. This means that heat comes into the room rather than straight up the wall, collecting at ceiling level.

If your radiator is under a window, this prevents the heat from going up behind the curtains and being wasted.

I have a thermostat on my radiator. Will I still be able to fit a radiator cover?

Having thermostatic valves is not a problem; you just need to decide whether you want the valve inside or outside the radiator cover, which may depend on the size and position of the valve. Thermostatic valve manufacturers recommend leaving them outside; however, sometimes this is not wanted or physically impossible in which case you can simply turn up the thermostat to take into account that it is inside the cover.

How do I get to my radiator once the cover is fitted?

All Jali made-to-measure radiator covers have drop-down fronts for quick access to your radiator and valves. They are secured with magnetic catches and the front panels are easily removed and put back in again.

Can I buy my unit painted?

Currently all our products are supplied unpainted, ready for on-site painting. With a bit of care and attention you can get an excellent finish by hand-painting. See the Painting MDF section for some tips.

Jali is aware of its responsibility to manage its manufacturing processes and we are working to protect and enhance the environment. We are fully committed to reducing or eliminating any negative impacts our business may have, and to controlling and avoiding pollution.

Jali has adopted the principle of lean manufacturing, which looks to identify and remove the causes of waste throughout the manufacturing process and across all parts of the business.

In addition to eliminating waste of materials, Jali also looks to eliminate wasted time - another significant cost to the business and, hence, to the customer.

Our factory is arranged so that we do as much as we can to your order in the same place, which saves moving the order between different work areas and ultimately enables us to reduce the cost of manufacture.

Our factory is located in Kent, just off the A2 between
Canterbury and Dover. Office and showroom opening hours are between 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
